ORCL, agreed, but it may actually be better than a 'put away' short term
imo they are on the cusp of leading the markets with 'leased' and 'remotely accessed' systems.....a number of months ago i understood one of the largest Oracle Applications (Finance, Mfg/Dist) customers wanted them to run the systems AT ORACLE
why? so that they wouldn't have to bear the cost (especially people cost in terms of unique skills/integration) of operations--Oracle could do it LESS expensively, even with the high markup....interesting
yesterday i heard a 'whispered' comment about the 'a' word--acquisition
didn't bother asking as i had bought anyway and won't trade
good luck with ORCL, though we may not need it :)))
ynot :)
