NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1999--Loral Space & Communications Ltd.'s (NYSE: LOR - news) offer to exchange its outstanding unregistered 9-1/2% Senior Notes due 2006 for new 9-1/2% Senior Notes due 2006 which have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, has been extended until 5 P.M. New York City time on May 21, 1999. The exchange offer was originally scheduled to expire on May 17, 1999, 5 P.M. New York City time.
