The Merukh Issue Is B.S.

Nobody in Indonesia cares about Merukh because he has a miniscule chance of any success and is an embarassment to the Indos. But, he is one tough customer and a serious pain in the butt to Newmont and his other partners in Indonesia. Again, he came to Canada in the first place because he did not have a chance in Indonesia. Now with no chance of success here, he is back in Indonesia now (Note: asking for 10%, not the original 40%, then 30%, remember) Look at the stock of Warren Beckwith's Company "Golden Valley" to see what the Australian market thinks of Merukh's chances of success. Remember the arrangement they have with Merukh where they fund lawsuits in return for a share of the action. (More money lost by those dopes in Australia who are sleezie enough to fund an action like this)

Merukh is a Red Herring played up in the Canadian press to make the Bre-X situation look bad (some of us believe a certain large mining company might have helped overplay this situation in order to increase the pressure on BXM to strike a deal with them).

Just some thoughts on the subject.
