Weather was also tumultuous in TX which could skew the South's data a bit, but I forgot about that drywall shortage - I remember reading about that somewhere before, but I can't remember where exactly. The data regarding the Northeast may be unimportant anyway - there is not a boom in housing construction in the NE like there is in the West... it's a pain in the ass for a developer to even attempt to get permission to build new communities in this area. Maybe that's why everyone here is focused on interiors.... (but that might just be because of the amount of money that is made off the books in that niche, which obviously makes it an attractive business to certain parties in our area that shall remain nameless, for fear of being mailed a fish!).
