I agree with you fundamentally that the "going will be tough" but limited e-com stocks have garnered outrageous multiples (AMZN-books, Cdnow-music, BII-auction stuff, competing with Ebay etc.). Granted, most of the large cap stocks are American and have a larger market to sell to, but SBX is in a position that many Candian companies would love to be in.

I am mostly comparing SBX to the SKG's, GEM's etc. who all have "plans" but no sales or earnings. With that type of comparison SBX can certainly support such a market cap.

I'm not saying it should, as I think many e-com/internet plays are certainly overvalued, but for comparison's sake their story is better than many others.
