rudedog: A follow up to that mf storage message:

____________________________________

I have heard "Net Revenue Projections" for storage of 3 billion in 2002 and service of 3.5 billion in 2002.

Someone on this board stated earlier that I was way off base, but I think they were refering to 9 billion in gross revenues for storage; whereas, I was referring to 3 billion in net revenue.

I have also heard projections that service and storage will comprise 2/3s of Compaq's business. If margin holds in the 30% range for service and storage, $5 in net earnings highly possible. PCs are projected at 3 billion net revenue for 2002. 9.5 billion in net revenue gets you right at $5 net per share........

If analysts are correct that Compaq will earn 1.12 this year then we are looking at over 400% gain in earnings over the next 3 years.
