From what I saw in Las Vegas the Snapper is only concerned about cost/enery ratio and has achieved an energy density equal to a lithium cell but at a cost lower than the conventional lead acid cell.
He has also produced lead acid cells at lower weights and cost/energy ratios than normal lead acid cells using his sponge alloy metallurgical technology, which is patented and part of PWTC.
He then went on to apply this technology to the Edison alkaline cell which does not use acid or lead. He had many prototypes when I was there in November but I still don't know which one has performed the best or which one will go into production.
Personally I think the new gallenieum alloy that continually produces 1.5v of electricity when immersed in water is the most interesting of all of Snapper's inventions.
Somehow - somewhere, I think we'll do OK and I am going to hold as long as possible.
