I tend to disagree with you on AU stocks. If the fed tightens money might come out of gold because the market will view the fed as hawkish and a rise in rates will cap inflation. If they leave rates alone people will still worry about inflation. A good time to get into gold is when real interest rates are extremely low and a fed hike is a move in the other direction.
