BGR, It would be nice to see a report from Dell that is stripped of the effects of put warrant selling, employee option salaries, receivable dumps at the end of the quarter (they have no channel to stuff, but they do have incentives to offer to those who take early delivery so they "make" their quarter), included incentives in the revenues number, didn't rely on splits for the round up scam, etc. However, the main thing would be a management discussion that is not all hype and spin. Dell seems to be leaning this way a bit more. For the first time this quarter, they admitted that the industry isn't doing well, though they are. That is quite a change from the touts of the past. I don't know if it is a move toward honesty or the fact that all previous predictions of the industry have been so high of the mark that even myopic analysts could some day notice the discrepancy.
