Some thoughts from another MYNGer received by email:

re: lawyer fees...in this case, I think GE should be paying them double and thanking them for covering their asses. GE has never shown much professional savvy when it comes to making the right judgement calls - and their past discount counsel didn't do much to help them out. fact of the matter is that they are under a microscope - like it or not. they shouldn't be bitching about it...which it sounds like they do now and then. they did after all announce THE worlds largest single mine and then after the initial BD review admit that the data was insufficient to warrant the claim. (soap-box) I am tired of the "insiders," and reportedly Knittle, feeling like they are gettting it (you know where) from the SEC...GE management set the whole thing in motion and now are in the position of scrambling to save face. If they had reversed what turned out to be the actions taken and had focussed on, say, the chaco face first, they would be at 50c to 75c right now - with some production (if the rumors that it can be produced are true). then they could have used some of that cash to
explore the rest of the property.
