Aya, AMAT is the bellwether of the semi-equipment sector... the largest maker/supplier of semiconductor manufacturing tools (silicon wafer, etc) in the universe. <g> Where AMAT goes so does the semiconductor and semiequip companies in the world... I don't know what else I can add to that without going too techie. If AMAT gets killed the whole tech sector gets killed, simple as that... Sorry this is a little late... I turned off my PC and took a nap waiting for the FOMC decision... SF
