It taints it. If you look at the reasons for all the awards - not just NETP - the idea is that they were innovative in a technical sense. Then you see the award for DELL - given equal billing. It does not seem to fit. It cites the fact that DELL has e-commerce in several countries - but what is innovative or special about that? It has two DELL directors on the panel. This suggest to me that the DELL award was a fix. This taints the rest of the event. I don't need to be able to spell it out. It creates a suspicion about the funding and organisation of the competition and the awards and the relationship of winners to judges.
