The way I understood it, the vendors were to see .20 on the $. The stockholders would get whatever the market let them after the company became solvent. I'd much rather have had the 25/1 deal than what I've got right now! Everyone was better off with Balm's deal, including the banks. They're just the big dogs at the kill, they get the best scraps, or in this case all the scraps and they get to sh_t on everyone else. Justice Paperny just spat on the principle and essence behind the CCAA. The banks whined and she gave in, at the expense of the unsecured vendors and stockholders!
