arcticwarrior, And Public Service Company of Florida (New jersey?) just announced that they and Texas Utilities are building a new gas-fired power plant south of Odessa, Texas. As my friend at Enron noted, each year the corollation gets stronger that either a hot summer or a cold winter will spike gas demand. The reason is that all around North America gas-fired generating stations are being opened, partly to meet 1992 Rio Treaty emissions requirements in developed countries....
