Yaacov, thank you for better explaining your hostility towards Bibi...I agree that the religious parties get too many concessions, but they have historically extorted them from both parties. The fault is not so much Bibi's as the system of proportional representation in the Knesset, which should be revised to squeeze out the marginal parties. I don't know eough about the current economy to say, but I think that the objective of securing Jerusalem cannot be accomplished without securing its suburbs, and that the de- militarization of the West Bank probably does depend on having a strong settler presence, at least for awhile, which means securing the system of roads on the West Bank. So is it a pay- off, or a strategic necessity?
