Lorne, it is my understanding that BHP agreed to provide approx. 10% of their rough diamonds between 1.0 and 10.8 carats (or approx. 7,500 carats per month) for northern processing. These are very desirable (ie marketable) stones, and should be enough for at least 3 very profitable northern diamond processing plants. There is no intention to process the smaller "India Goods" in the north.

It is entirely likely that Diavik/Aber would be willing to do at least the same. The question is, How many rough diamonds will Diavik/Aber have in the same category?

Regards.
