you had it right the first time, but you got it wrong the second time. public. not private.

couple things here... (i don't know if you are referring to me personally, but i'll assume that you are.) first of all, i'm not "doing all i can" to disrupt a thread. secondly, the forum is not disrupted until you respond, or engage an individual whose post you disagree with. think about it. either you "wade through it in order to find what I am looking for", or you stop and fire off a lengthy response in which you invite people to leave and call their posts "negative bile".
if you want to complain about disruptions, then you should develop the discipline to ignore what you consider to be an offensive post. because you can't have it the way you want it.
