Supergen is touting its RFS 2000 for two reasons. First, to raise its stock price. Second, to attract the attention of potential partners. If you look at the recently filed 10-k, you will note that the company is running out of cash and has large outlays coming up for its Phase III studies. Supergen must find a partner to shoulder some of the costs or raise more money through a debt or stock offering (perhaps even a private placement). Hopefully, the company will have some news soon. Once they handle the cash flow issue, the stock should really take off. Until then, I am staying on the sidelines.
