Lithos Corporation - Press Release QUEBEC, QUEBEC--The management of Lithos Corporation is pleased to announce that the industrial transformation initiated in 1998 by the company has now been completed. In fact, Lithos Corporation has bought out the minority shareholders of its subsidiary Limtech. The completed documentation has been registered on the Montreal stock exchange. A special General Meeting to autorize this transaction will be held at the same time as the Annual Meeting, which was called for April 15, 1999. A new date for these two (2) meetings will be confirmed as soon as possible by press release. The transaction is subject to the approval of Lithos Corporation shareholders and the autorisation of the Montreal Stock Exchange. Lithos Corporation shareholders retain the same capital shares of Limtech following the 1997 private investment buyout of $1.7 million. This operation avoids the calculation of the fairness value as planned and previously discussed in 1998. Since March 1999, Limtech has provided over twenty (20) international companies with samples of its product, ultra high grade (99.999) lithium carbonate. These companies are now testing these samples on their production lines. Limtech has signed its first sales contract.
