On the subject of averaging down. I have used this technique for years. My rules are: 1.never make your full commitment on the first buy. (keep some powder dry). 2.never average down more than twice. 3. never average down unless you can improve your average cost 25%. These rules I have used in investing in tech stocks with $50 M to $5 B sales with high volatility. Good luck.
