This is interesting. Yesterday we had the pleasure of entering discussions wrestling with this very subject. It seems that at this time the valuations are done based largely on traffic and very little else. The revenue models are based on traffic which equates to advertising dollars and a percentage of people that might buy from the site. These assumptions in the health area also presume that the Pharma and drug companies will advertise based on these criteria. A model as yet unproven. Clearly over the next several years the facts will emerge and the fiction be used in the writing of many pulp fiction books. A good title might be "The fleecing of the American Public" or ........Any ideas?

If we look at companies that have bricks and mortar and/or a strong street presence which brands its name well I think we will be able to pick out the long term winners. The companies that do not have this but who are cash rich and who have high flying stocks can if management is on top of it buy their position. The retailers who do not have a web presence watch out!
