99/05/18, 1:50pm - Very interesting. Anand put up a thingie on E3 in which it is mentioned that K7 will be released at 550MHz and 600MHz, no mention of 500MHz. Makes sense, since they can only afford to price this processor so low. Hmm...a mention of the asynchronous memory stuff; nothing new there, but it's nice to know that they're committed to the PC133 memory standard -- I just wish they toyed some more with the memory interleaving stuff. Note: I now make a futile wish for low volume 650MHz offerings of the K7 at intro. <g>
