Cost is the key.... Warren: I'm just becoming familiar with these companies... So, I'm not in a position, now, to compare them... But I agree that for most people ISDN at four times 28.8 current modem speeds will be the mode of choice for the next few years.... To make it so... internet providers will have to find a way of providing ISDN at reasonable prices... I look for companies like U.S. Robotics and Microcom to offer their versions of ISDN modems... Maybe that's why their price has been climbing... Ultimately, two to three years down the road, a collaberation by a cable and telephone company will bring ADSL video capabilities to the home TV or Computer at competitive prices... I foresee internetlike deals with advertisers to help defray some of the costs to the ultimate user (you and I).... Jim
