PMFJI, a newbie on this thread. I don't own Dell, have been watching from the sidelines with some interest, now that Dell has dropped from the mid 50s down, in after hours trading, to about 42, I am wondering whether it is time to jump in. The historic growth pattern is obviously strong, the PE is of course high but not outlandish (per Equity Digest, their PE is below the industry PE), from what I can see the business plan seems sound, cash is up significantly, and the analysts seem to have soured a bit (First Call mean recommendation is 2.1) which I find is often a good sign. From those who know the company, is this dip the time to jump in, or is it still not a good buy in the low 40s? |
