In my case, I bought 2 'brand new' Infinity speakers from Ubid and one of them came DOA. This unit looks used since the face has white stuff on it (looks like someone spilled milk on it). I contacted UBID and was asked to contact the manufacturer, who then asked me to bring it in for SERVICED. I then contacted UBID again to let them know that I did not want it SERVICED. I want to trade for a new one. I have not got a response back since filing this 2nd email 6 days ago even though their automated response promise a response within 2 business days.

This is outright fraud!!! I will try to enlist my credit provider for help to withhold the payment. I think I will file a complaint with California Consumer Protection, too.

Watch out even for NEW stuff!!!
