What's the problems for HD? Higher inventories? Competitors with similar styles blooming? 10% drops in new home building last month? Next quarter's estimated numbers hard to beat? Top management layer changes? International expanding with huge spending in the near future? Today's FED tightening bias? None of them seems seriously enough to make this stock under such a heavy distribution pressure. The valuation is the real reason. The prices were just too high (at least to me).
