Glenn, are you suggesting that Kleiner Perkins partners makes cash investments in obscure internet companies, then gets Amazon to purchase those companies with massive amounts of stock- thus adding REAL CASH to Amazon's balance sheet, and making a Kleiner Perkins partner instantly rich because of his smart decision to invest in an otherwise worthless company 1 month before Amazon "happens" to buy it? :) I mean, just because it has happened 4 or 5 times doesnt mean it is a ongoing pattern..
