In terms of a CEO and President level jobs ... I believe you're right. They get enough money & fame to incent them, and usually have thick skins too. I don't think that only one person can do the whole job. I'm not worried about 'the person' that takes on the CEO job. I am worried about the effect we might have on the same people that we want to do the heavy lifting of the Marketing that will need to succeed. The nincompoops and the unseen burueaucrats currently running the show deserve to be harrassed. The Engineers and Managers that created the technology that Novell now has ... need to be encouraged to do some marketing ... and to support a significant change in how the company sets it's goals and plans. They'll be doing something new for them, probably prone to initial mistakes ... don't want them to be afraid to try.
