PerfectData Expands Retail Distribution
SIMI VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1999--PerfectData Corp. (Nasdaq:PERF - news) announced that it has expanded its retail presence.
PerfectData products will be distributed to large home- improvement centers as well as hardware and specialty retailers. The company expects initial orders for the retail and wholesale distribution channel to commence by the end of May 1999.
PerfectData and Flamemaster (Nasdaq:FAME - news), in a joint venture, own a modest stake in El Guapo Spices, a profitable Los Angeles Latin food and spice company.
PerfectData and Flamemaster also own a moderate stake in Staruni (OTC BB:SRUN). Staruni is an Internet services and Internet commerce provider. Cyberhotline, a division of Staruni, is a Los Angeles-based Internet service provider and Web marketer, which has recently announced surpassing 2,000 customers.
In addition to cyberhotline.com, Staruni provides e-commerce solutions, operates Internet Web sites for online shopping, and information and directory services through whattup.com. Staruni also hosts many other Web sites offering an array of products and services.
