I watched it go 338 - 238 - 338 - 228. Keep watching. I got lucky. I figured if you and Dave moved on it the time was right. Thanks (Dave too) for the heads up. I checked the invoice and I got it for $223.95. Maybe they try to clear their shelves before their next shipment arrives? Now I do not feel so bad about having to pay sales tax. The $400 for the RICOH still hurts. Hopefully this drive will be more consistent. When you timed the packet write..was it an overall time? My drives have a lead in and closing time that would add to the 2X write time. Zeuspaul
