Dave maybe the big (NOTE)holders have "killed" AAPL's option appeal

True : >> " But people dealing in options aren't the entire market for the actual stock and so it's going to be an imperfect indicator." <<

AAPL's share price has consistently moved (down) to a unreasonable level to coincide with MaxPain each month at expirations and then move back .

It seems the Noteholders , and maybe the big Six who will probably add a few more players due to Wed's analyst meeting , plus the Market Makers can readily influence AAPL's share price .

The sideward price movement below $35 after 4/12/99's "short interest disclosure" was an example . I remember a day of 15 mln shares with little movement .

However , with the Notes called , AAPL's stock should have a steady upward bias due to its recovery accomplishments . I believe the big Six want to write (more) options .

This opts expir week with both pro and con news may offer a preview of how AAPL's share price will act absent the Notes .
