What concerns me more is the potential to diminish some of MSFT's large cash position, which they have been using to such great advantage of late in broadband.

And this would result in how many tens-of-millions out of how many billions in cash? Peanuts. If you want to be concerned, look at it in terms of dilution due to the new stock issued to the scum-who-won't-abide-by-the-contract-they-signed. How many tens or hundreds of thousands of shares? Of course, vs. 5+ billion outstanding, peanuts too.

This, too, shall pass.

Of course, the effect of this suit on subcontractors nationwide won't be so small. Most companies have already implemented arbitrary "out the door after xx months" policies to limit their liabilities. Why don't all you subcontractors out there send these guys a thank-you-for-phuquing-up-my-way-of-life card? I know all the subs where I work hate them. I haven't talked to one who agrees with them.
