Environmental Safeguards, Inc. Realizes Initial Revenues From Colombia Contract

HOUSTON, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Environmental Safeguards, Inc.
(OTC: EVSF), announced today that OnSite Technology, its 50/50 joint venture
with Parker Drilling Company (NYSE: PKD), has been operating one of its new
Series 6000 Indirect Thermal Desorption Units ("ITD Unit") for BP Exploration
(Colombia) Ltd ("BP Colombia") since November 11, 1996. OnSite is under a one
year contract to BP Colombia to remediate contaminated drill cuttings using
its proprietary processes. Mr. James S. Percell, EVSF Chairman, stated, "I
have just returned from the jobsite and all parties are very pleased with the
performance of the Series 6000 ITD Unit. There exists a strong demand for our
technology in South America and our performance concerning this contract will
be very beneficial in our placing more units in this part of the world."
Environmental Safeguards, Inc., through its proprietary processes, is a
recycler and remediator of hydrocarbon and hydrocarbon derivative contaminated
