Copied from NUOA thread: NuOasis unit to build hotel in S.Korea SEOUL, May 19 (Reuters) - South Korea's South Chungchong provincial government said on Wednesday a unit of U.S.-based NuOasis Resorts Inc agreed to invest $150 million in building a luxury hotel in the province. Oasis Resorts International Inc signed a joint venture agreement with Chonan Onchon Development Corp based in the province, the provincial government said in a statement. Chonan Onchon Development will provide a 330,000 sq metres of land while the U.S. company will invest $150 million in the joint venture, according to the statement. Respective stakeholdings in the joint venture were not immediately available. The hotel will be built before the soccer World Cup finals begin in mid-2002 within a hot springs resort complex, itself under development, in Chonan, 100 km south of Seoul.
