AAHS---just received a TA alert w/ recent news: MINNEAPOLIS, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Broadcasting (Nasdaq: AAHS)
announced today that net income for its quarter ended March 31, 1999 was
$11.5 million or $1.76 per common share, compared to a net loss last year of
$3.7 million or $0.55 per common share. This year's first quarter results
reflect a gain on the sale of the Company's final radio stations to Radio
Unica of $16.5 million or $2.55 per share, as well as a partial month's
operating results from Chelsea Pictures, which the Company acquired in March
1999. Revenues for the quarter increased to $1,231,000 from $836,000 a year
ago.

BRIEF: AAHS formerly broadcast 24-hour children's radio
programming, known as Aahs World Radio, via satellite to 14
markets in the U.S. Effective 1/30/98, the Company ceased
distribution of its programming format. For the nine months
ended 9/30/98, revenues fell 54% to $2M. Net loss applic. to
Common rose 40% to $12.2M. Revenues reflect the cessation
of broadcasting the Aahs Radio format. Higher loss was
partially offset by a $543K gain on the exchange of assets.
*PRELIMINARY: For the 3 months ended 12/31/1998, revenues
were 595; after tax earnings were 19,282.
I am not in yet, but will watch closely. Yesterday's volume over 10 times average. Near 52 wk. low.
