This is going to force a change in mindset for bank executives. In the banking industry, the junior executive who is seen as taking the least risk (putting the bank in the position of least potential liability) is usually promoted. That paradigm will have to change as well. Early attempts at a new channel tend to be frought with risk and false starts with incomplete information. Can traditional banking executives make the necessary moves fast enough to be competitive in this new arena???
