FAIRLAWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 1999--FineLine Properties.com Inc. (OTC BB:FNLND - news) Wednesday announced that it has placed ads in the Licensing Magazine to aid it in reaching over 15,000 licensing professionals from over 60 countries and the over 400 companies that attend the Industry's largest global Licensing Show held in New York City on June 8th, 9th and 10th.

Known as The International Licensing Show, this event encompasses over 27,000 square feet at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. It is the most important trade show and conference for licensing activity in the world (the Show is not open to the public). ''We have placed ads in the Licensing Magazine to showcase the huge and unique family of cartoon characters we have developed,'' stated FineLine President Mr. Robert Petry, ''and those ads will be seen and read by all of the top licensing firms around the global, as they all have representatives attending.''

The ad placements are part of the Company's licensing and merchandising strategies to expose its character lines on a global basis. Show attendees include manufacturers, retailers, advertising agencies and marketing companies. The licensing industry generates over $120 billion annually from merchandising and promotional venues. Commercials utilizing Michael Jordan and his Space Jam buddies, McDonald's promotions, games, toys and apparel all are a part of this huge industry which FineLine Properties operates in.

''In reality, very few people outside of the Licensing and Merchandising Industry know of how extensive and influential it is in terms of selling and moving everything from hamburgers, food, clothing, services, and countless other goods and services,'' indicated Mr. Petry. ''Movies such as Mulan, The Rug Rats, A Bugs Life as well as television shows The Simpson's, King Of The Hill and others all are a part of the revenue streams this industry creates.''

Some of FineLine's cartoon characters have already been on the international stage with licenses in more than 20 countries and on over 450 licensed products. The company indicated that it will also participate in other Licensing Industry events held in Europe as well as Asia, in addition to advertising and other campaigns to secure licensing and merchandising agreements during the remainder of 1999.
