Elwood - I find it interesting that Dell could not have a blowout quarter even after they said CPQ's woes should give them a boost. I think things continue to get more difficult for them in the box business. To tell you the truth, I have been surprised that IBM, HWP, and CPQ have taken so long to get their respective acts together, so far IBM and HWP are doing so, and I believe CPQ is next. With the right CEO and continued quick strategic moves, they can do it. The ace in the hole of the large firms is diversification. Take IBM, if the PC biz is not clicking, other parts of the business are, and it doesn't matter. If the PC biz doesn't click for Dell, different story. CPQ needs to continue heading in that direction.

Regards,
John
