Here is a line that one of my partners(a man) used for years in closing arguments to the jury:

I don't get the last word at home and I don't get it here.

<he was referring to the fact that, as defense counsel, he only had one opportunity to address the jury in closing arguments, whereas the plaintiff's attorney had two---one before he spoke and to which he could respond, and one after he spoke, which was a rebuttal to his comments. The plaintiff gets two bites at the apple because he/she has the burden of proof.>
