One usually should be thinking about international repercussions in foreign deals. It's a long, slow process over time, but the more international businesses require communications and become "slaves" to it, the more likely peace will remain (albeit with occasional disruptions). Think of it as "photonic imperialism."

I've been thinking about where GBLX will go from this point. The concentration thus far has been about acquiring pipes. At what point does the GBLX cash cow start looking to acquire calves to suckle at it's photonic teats? Once the FRO deal consummates, does Annunziata start casting eyes at the likes of YHOO?
