I found this comment from LCOS CEO to be very intriguing:

As for future deals, the perennially-acquisitive Lycos has ''a lot'' cooking,Davis said, but he offered few specifics. ''The next big thing to look for from us would be some more commerce activity, in particular areas that will enable businesses to sell more effectively on the Web,'' Davis said. ''That doesn't tell you much, but it's a commerce infrastructure that we'll be providing to our partners,'' he said.

Sounds like CommerceTone, with a heavy emphasis on getting the OMKT Transact product licenses out the door and operational. Steady revenue streams from e-commerce can only help an independent portal like LCOS improve its story/biz model. FWIW. Or, of course, a takeover of OMKT... Rob
