Vicki,

I have my account for selling puts at Brown & Co. (20% margin requirement vs 50% for Dreyfus). I have different CC strategies depending on a number of factors, but one of my strategies begins by selling naked puts on stocks I would not mind owning albeit at a lower price.

I have recently opened positions on DIS, HD, ORCL, RIG and COMS.

I always sell (to open) the next month out e.g. June now and a strike price or two out of the money. I like to sell for a minimum price of $1 and do 5 at a time usually.

I have used this strategy successfully on groups of stocks like the Oil Service group recently.

Good luck....Phillip
