rude..thanks, i took a bit of flack last night by introducing the concept of "spin" to the mix....as i stated earlier, a forward thrust is difficult when you are in a defensive mode...the numbers are there, they will continue to be there....but the market is demanding proof of that which can't be proved...dell may be blinded by their own vision, shareholders can't understand why the market is penalizing..shocked, like a deer in the headlights...they must step back, and leverage the perceived weak points into those of strength...speak of the vision of being a total solutions provider, and how they "envision" it to happen, be it via m&a, or "home grown"....the market doesn't move issues on reality or specifics, the movement is on dreams and promises...for dell to "spin" this tale will not impugn their integrity or valor, for a direction beyond the white box is required to survive...review gerstner and platt visions...they concentrated on the potential of e-commerce....the market rewarded them with their innovative thinking...dell is ahead of the curve on e-commerce and execution...."WHY NOT ALLOW THE LIGHT TO SHINE FROM BENEATH THE BASKET?"....cpq if on track will be the greatest threat going forward to dell....msd can't afford to maintain his "invisible vision"....see and be seen...it's a whole new game, and one that has nothing to do with the real business of business...remember this is a media driven world...wake up mikey!! |
