alohal... my comment was not directed toward trading or short term stock pricing.. my inference was for them to bolster the long term outlook of the company, much as gerstner and platt did...they are in the big leagues, and communication from the upper management is imperative to stroke the market....have you noticed a pattern...the kumar and niles are saying what they said in prior quarters, and meredith responds as before...too much concentration by dell on its pc capabilities..the company not only must move beyond the pc to survive, as it is doing, but give strong comments on that part of the business...instead of defending the obvious....they are missing a strategic marketing perception point....nothing to do with core business, it's a separate issue...need healthy stock price....should be no short term pain, look at their balance sheet..more pleasure as i see it...but it's obvious the pc albatross is around their neck...need some "visionary" comments....
