Well I am against the security stuff, metal detectors etc, because I think that adds to the violent climate actually. I am in favor of putting a lid on some of this violent stuff coming out of hollywood but the problem is there is no way to legislate it. For example Saving Private Ryan is ok while Natural Born Killers is not. Common sense tells you that is true but thats about where it ends. Focussing on these "outsider" groups such as the trenchcoat mafia is a mistake too I feel. Make a big deal out of unique expression for high school kids and it just makes it worse. Its not like the Kiss army ever went out and killed anybody anyway so obscure clothing is not a precursor for violence.
