First Star Energy Ltd - First Star Energy receives conditional listing approval for private placement First Star Energy Ltd FST Shares issued 27,210,634 1999-05-18 close $0.28 Wednesday May 19 1999 Mr. Robyn Lore reports Conditional listing approval has been granted by the Alberta Stock Exchange for a private placement of 8 million Class A common shares. These shares will be issued at a price of 25 cents per common share to raise gross proceeds of $2-million. It is anticipated that the officers, directors or nominee directors of First Star could participate for a portion of the private placement. The funds will be used as working capital and to retire the current line of credit held by the bank, freeing First Star of debt, and also to provide continuing exploration funds. A convertible debenture to provide an additional $350,000 has also received conditional listing approval from the Alberta Stock Exchange. This debenture is convertible for a period of two years for 1.4 million common shares, also at 25 cents per common share. The funds will be used to retire a promissory note held by Tetrarch Capital Limited, a company owned by James A Malcolm, president and chairman of First Star.
