Your "a multivendor mix just doesn't work..." comment may suggest a good reason to own CSCO stock. Whatever router you want,Cisco probably have it, they all work together, and since Cisco has been the biggest seller it's more likely than not that your Cisco router will wind up talking to another Cisco router.
