paul..."in focus" believe mikey is focused, but the market is not in focus with mikey...you can have the greatest company in the world, but you are oft time judged by those of lesser accomplishment...one must communicate at all levels, for "vision, culture, et al", is not understood and in some instances not part of societal beliefs... to me the book promotion should have been the venue to speak not of the past, and misunderstood vision....but to hype the future...if he don't do it, ain't nobody else will....ya gotta believe...but so do the masses...he ain't big blue yet.....gerstner delivered, spin or no spin...a dinosaur speaking of the twenty first century...maybe he just spoke the right words.....meanwhile mikey is "perceived" as a white box maker, that is the point i try desperately to make to the "believers".....cheers, ed.
