ed a.: again, I don't disagree. IMO that's why I strongly believe that some acquisitions are in the offing and that MD will have a lot to say when they begin to happen. Remember, MD has always been gunning for Big Blue and you can be very sure he knows about as much about them as one can know. Again, I see this period as a transition and that transition needs to be managed with a sure steady hand. So far I haven't seen anything to shake my confidence in Dell's management, which is why I am invested in the co. I agree with the many folks on this thread who have said that Dell now needs to grow into its valuation as a more mature company. If that means that the stock moves in a narrow range for the next 2-3 Q's that's acceptable to me. Besides, holding for more than a year has the added benefit of slashing your tax bill in 1/2!<gg> Aloha
