Voodoo3 3500TV Review

Don't know if it's already been posted, but just in case....

The juicy part....

>>What was genius on the part of 3Dfx was to add a "break-out box" to the unit. 3Dfx has replaced the 15 pin monitor connection with a proprietary connector which runs to a heavy gauge Y-connector. One end of the Y terminates in a standard monitor connection while the other stretches to the box (3Dfx had dubbed this a "Video I/O Pod"). On the Pod one can find NTSC & PAL input/output, Stereo audio inputs and outputs and Digital video inputs. With these types of inputs and outputs, the Voodoo 3 3500 TV may very well take a bite out of the business that the Marvel G200 and the All-In-Wonder has generated.<<
